Perfect party for a princess

Feb3, was Violets birthday. My happy sweet little girl turned five. We planned a cute little tea party on the same day. I spent Monday baking little heart cakes for the occasion and Low and behold the stomach flew decided to stop by and give us an unwelcome visit! Uggh! We tried to make the best of having canceled the party and I decorated a few cupcakes and froze the rest. Shane brought home flowers for Violets birthday and for the sick girlies. so sweet!
We told Violet we didn't get her a bike even though she had asked for one.
So when Shane snuck it in she was really bouncing with joy. She could hardly talk, but she did say that, "She loved how free it felt!"lol
This picture was yesterday the 9th. We finally had her cute little party. I dressed her and Lillian up.

Daddy danced with his princess while we waited for everyone to arrive.
How sweet is that?

Violet posed!

Teiken came early and played.

My grandma and grandpa came and my Grandma and My mom helped me to decorate Violets little heart cake.

I set the table like an actual tea party. I thought it turned out very sweet.
So sweet my mouth is watering for a piece of that cake!

A perfect party for a princess!

My scowley little Lilli was having fun too. She was really cute with bringing Violet each of her present.

The party couldn't start 'til Millie Sue arrived! The only other little girl at the party.
I made the kids sing "I'm a little tea pot" and we played Hot potato but with a little teacup and they had to pass it around with their pinkie up.
Then we lit the cake and sang.

I held the feathers back from going up in flames as she blew.

The kids started to dig in and poor their tea. (red cream soda) They had to drink with their pinkies up. Cooper told me he didn't know what to think about all this girly stuff! He cracks me up.
Questen came off the bus late, but ready to party. I told him only civilized pirates were invited to the party.
It was a great day. Thanks everyone!
