Questen's Da Man!

Questen and his cousin Connor started Karate last fall, 2010. We have been told, by Sensi (the teacher), that they are very talented.

This January Questen and Connor moved up from white belt which is the beginning belt to a yellow belt! In order to earn this they had all kinds of strenuous exercises in a row. It seemed like it was forever, But they did it!!!

I hope they both keep going!

They had this picture put in the paper. We're so proud of you Questen!

Christmas Day 2011

I love this picture with my sweet little ones holding hands to come out together to see if they've been good enough to get any thing.
and of course, they had! Too much!

I love the smiles on everyones sleepy little faces.

I'm thinking Violet may have a mouth full of candy already in this pic.
Questen is rocken out on his new guitar!
Santa brought him a new D.S. since someone broke his other one.

Baby walk and giggle is Lilli's new best friend. She can stand up on her own clear from her tummy!

Questen is very happy about the poopin reindeer. Imagine that!

Santa brought Violet Chico Bello. He is the cutest. His little cheeks turn red because he has a fever and he cries until you fix him. Which includes three bottles to try, a ear thermomiter, and if all else fells. A shot in the butt. Not kidding! He is very realistic!

Wouldn't be christmas without the mess, right?

I love when my kids are so happy and get along.

Sleepy little Buttons is sporting christmas Jammies too.

Pageants, parties, and performances

December 2010

Violet had her little Christmas program.

Her class played jingle bells with real bells. Violet and her class did an excellent job of playing each bell at the exact moment.

and they sang really well. Great job Violet!

There might be a reaccuring theme of Violet being Mary at my mom's Christmas part. Aspen doesn't want to and Lilli doesn't seem to either.

So Violet has become a pro at it.

Lillian was a wonderfull star.

Grandma and Grandpa's gift to the kids this year was nano bugs and boy were they a hit!

Our annual stair picture. This was a first, just the boys.

Grandpa in his usual place.

The kids picking on grandpa in his usual place.

It was like pulling teeth to even get a pic this good.

This was taken christmas eve. I love it. It's not the best quality,

but I love it!

A close up on Violet in the box.

I seriously thought we were going to have a non- white Christmas this year and then one morning we woke up to all of this!

Halloween 2010

Please come in...

I'm missing our fresh red corn we ate in the fall.
We also had purple potatoes and carrots.

Violet dressed up for her Halloween party at school. We chose and easy cinderella.

The kids carved their pumpkins that came from our garden.

The made a royal mess in our already messy house.

They did an awesome job and this was the first year that ALL of the kids could carve a little bit.

This was their real Halloween costume
quite the assorntment knight, witch, and a southern belle!

Lilli loved being a witch she sang about witches and talked like a witch.
She was very darling.

My southern belle was very graceful and beautiful!

My knight in not so shining armer was very scary and brave!
Halloween night was abit of a night mare. Cold and windy and Lacy succumbed and we went to our first trunk or treat. I am anti- trunk or treat and still am!!!

but we ate some nice brain and the night was saved!

We had fun this fall harvesting our sunflower seeds.

This is a random pic of Violet because your going to need it.

Shane made us eat...
Well, what does it look like...
It looks bad, huh?

Yup, looks very bad.
Yumm cow tongue.
Now, if that doesn't scare you I don't know what will.

It's a good thing Lacy made yummy pumpkin cookies and cake.
