Santa Clause

We had our ward Christmas party last week. The kids got to see Santa. Surprisingly, Questen was a little shy and he didn't want to go first.
Lilli didn't cry but she wasn't going to look at Santa let alone smile. When she first saw him she pointed and smiled and said ata!

Violet was not shy at all. Before we left our house she said," When I see Santa I'm going to tell him I love him." She ran up to him and gave him a great big hug. I don't think she ever told him she loved him, but she smiled and enjoyed Santa. Last year she cried.

One day Violet was being a stinker. She had screamed because she didn't want to bath. This happens every day. I said, "Violet can you tell Santa that you've been a good girl?"

In one motion... from screaming her head off at me to smiling sweetly she said,"Yes, I can."

I've decided in her little head she thought Yes, that's an easy thing to say. Because I know at that moment she did not qualify for good!
