Picture a Christmas...

Last week was our churche's Christmas party. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The kids were able to see Santa and then we ate dinner. Then the ward members put on the Nativity.

It ended well and I think even though there were parts that distracted from the spirit, It verged on a comedy, This scene in the picture showed what Christmas is all about.

Jesus.

My brother in law, Bubba, is the wise man in the crown. He was an excellent wise man and didn't forget his parts. The shepherds on the right are Bubba and Julies boys. Cadence is in gold and Rysten is in brown.

My own little Questen is in the blue. He didn't get to say his line because all of the shepherds didn't show up and the adults skipped him. His line was...

"Look! we shall follow the new star to find the Savior."

He did it really well! Shane and I were so proud of him and sorry he was skipped.

The people playing Mary and Joseph did the best that they could. Yes, It is Shane and I, but please forget this and pretend it's not. This Christmas remember the baby, but remember that he didn't just stay a baby he grew up and did marvelous wonderful things. Most of all he taught us how to love and take care of one another. Because of him, we can live again!

He is our Savior.
