♪The Right Stuff

Remember our 14 fine feathered friends? If you missed it you can read about them here. They've flown the coup(box). They have their feathers and they lost their fluff. They need a bigger home.


So Shane went to work making them a home. First it started a little small.

But now, well, let's just say... Those little chicks sure must know how to shake their feathers because Shane built them a gorgeous cottage! Seriously, I would live their. In fact, The whole chicken thing doesn't work. I might make it a reading nook.
Here's Questen painting. After about 10 pictures I realized my camera was still on manual. Therefore- blurry!

We pitched in as a family and helped Shane paint it. Except Lilli who was at the neighbors. Don't feel bad for her. She came home, ate oreos, O-R-E-Oooooo♪ (sorry for breaking out in song. ) and Lilli didn't know she'd missed a thing.

If you look back up at the picture of Violet and imagine Lilli 3 times worse, then you know it was great that she was at the neighbors.

I'm going to tell you something that may Shame myself, forever.

Here's the Handsome builder himself. That's our outdoor light behind his head not some weird headgear microphone. But if you lean your head to the right and squint one eye he does look like Joey McIntyre from KNOTB or not. Don't hate me Shane. I love you.
