Home invasion

So My little kids, doing what little kids do best, left the back door open Sunday afternoon.
They were trying to catch the last little bit of sun before it disappeared for the winter.

Our little dog Button was outside playing with them and harassing our other animals like she likes to do.
Button came bouncing in from out doors, and being our shivery little dog that she is, she headed straight to her warm cozy pink fluffy bed. But this is what she found.

Bear. our big black Halloween cat, was snoring away so happily in Button's bed. As you can imagine, Button was none to happy with this!

I heard her very clearly, but nicely tell Bear that this was her bed, hence the gigantic pink poodle pillow! Which Bear replied, but your not a poodle so I'm staying where I am at.

Hello.... Button said poodle ='s dog. Button ='s dog and you clearly are of the feline kind!

To which Bear replied with a yawn and a stretch which extend his head clear out of the bed and upside down.
That was a fighten yawn! Button declared war!

It was Ugly! Button pounced on Bear and gnawed and chewed.
Bear yawned again!

Button retaliated to the back of her bed.
Bear fell right back to sleep leaving Button to dwell on her own defeat.
But if it's any consolation Button soon curled up and snored right along with him.
Every time I tried to take a picture she perked up and posed for the camera. The little poser!
Who says dogs and cats can't get along?!?
Love, Lacy
P.S.
We started our first fire last night. It's official. Summer is OVER.
I have faced the fact as sad as it is!
P.P.S. Button would like me to let you know that the whole fight had NOTHING to do with the color of Bears Fur!

LoL!! That is pretty dang funny! Buttons just thinks she is a Big-N-Bad doesn't she! I'm glad Buttons didn't attack over any racial reasons. But she does have to protect here home. Summers over & now you are going to have to learn how to take care of the fire while I'm at work. Love ya, Shane
