Thursday, the girls and I went for a walk. It was an
excitingstroller ride with dead toads
and a dead snake.
But when we arrived home
(because the stroller's engine was
out of commission)
our garage door was open.
We found the kitties helping themselves to the
comfortsof our home. I quickly went into
"cat removal mode" and shewed
those rotten beasties right on out the door.
I then sat down to figure out how to put a
banner on this very blog.
When My ears heard this frantic little meow.
It was coming from Lillian and,
at first, I thought she was pretending,
But she wasn't.
the "good ship Lilli bed"

So our Momma cat being like any good
Momma cat had thought to herself.
Look the door is open, I'm going to move
all my babies in on Lilli's bed because it's soft, cozy, and warm
and nobody will be the wiser.
I'm sure that's what she thought,
because I could read her mind.
I'm a cat whisperer.
Do you believe me?
Neither does Shane.

She had only enough time to secure one kitten before
we girls came home and shewed Momma right
on out the door.
When I took the little stow away back to the litter the
Momma cat didn't act like she even remembered
leaving the baby. Cats are that way. It helps them
let go when they have to.
So were glad Lillian found the little stow away.

Violet Vindettes
Yesterday Violet grabbed Lilli and hugged her tight.
She said," You know what Lilla,
You're my best friend."
My heart melted. I must have done something right.
