Sweet right? You'll wanna read all of this one

Right now your thinking ooooooh, look at those sweet darling children, right?

Some where in the back ground you hear the horrible screatch of a record player turning off.
This is because Questen called 911 last night. Yes, you heard me correctly,
The police came and everything. Yup!
Let me back up-
Questen got off the bus he went and
played next door at Logan and Jackson Snows'.
Shane and the rest of us went out to the field to change the wheel line while Questen was playing next door. I could even see him in the back yard and thought he could see us. -Wrong-
Questen came home and he couldn't find us. (Apparently, he didn't think to call Shane's cell phone which Questen sometimes calls three times a day to pester his dad.) He went around the house and when we weren't found he dialed 911.
Shane and I being oblivious are slowly walking in from the field enjoying the sunshine. We were in our own la la land. We get to the garage door and Questen comes running out with the phone in the hand and says it's for you, it's 911.
Shane being in shock hangs up the phone. We all rush in the house as Questen starts to cry, "I couldn't find you." He throws himself in bed and hides under the covers cause he's embarrassed.
911 calls back. Shane answers. I can see a Police car coming down the driveway Lilli starts screaming because I'm to panicked to pick her up. Just when I think it's bad enough, my sweet little Violet comes around the corner with a fake pistol in her little hands and says, "I don't like police I'm doing to chute them." Violet I hush and run to answer the ringing door.
"Hi, you must be the missing mom." The lady police officer asks. Trying to keep a smile on my face. I tell her what happened and how sorry I am that Questen called. She seemed to already know before I could tell her. I guess because Shane had explained to the 911 guy already.
We later asked, Where did you think we were bud? I thought daddy went to work and Mommy and Violet were kidnapped. Poor little guy, he probably didn't remember walking around Shane's huge bucket truck to get in the garage door. Anyways, he seems okay now and we went over the numbers to call that are listed on the fridge. So he'll know what to do next time. Few...
Crisis over Shane and I were not taken to jail.
By the way, this was Questen's second time calling 911 the first I blame on Grandma Nanny because she had been teaching him how to call. He was three then. It was no where near as dramatic.
Sweet aren't they?
Taken Last night about 8:00.

These are the pictures I was taking while we were out in the field.

Daddy's girl
Frolicking Furry friend

Did you know we were growing a
beautiful little Violet flower
in the middle of the field?
